The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the significant quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes sassa status it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to enable the servicing of all clients and enhance usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
